Iris Biometric
π All iris processing is 100% local. Data never leaves your device.
- Register and verify iris biometrics for identity protection β 100% in your browser, nothing is uploaded.
- Read the Consent Notice and tick the box to enable capture.
- Use your camera or upload a close-up eye photo; the tool segments your iris, normalizes it (Daugman rubber-sheet), and generates a 2048-bit IrisCode.
- Enter a name and press Generate Identifiers to store the template locally (IndexedDB).
- Compare a new capture against stored templates on the Verify tab to confirm a match.
- On the Enrolled Templates list you can refresh or clear all stored templates.
- β οΈ All processing is on-device. Withdraw consent at any time to delete every stored iris record (GDPR Art. 7(3) + 17).
Iris Biometric Consent Notice
This tool processes iris patterns β a biometric identifier β entirely in your browser. Please read the details below before continuing.
Accuracy note: Capture uses your webcam under ordinary visible light. Professional iris scanners use near-infrared (NIR) illumination; under visible light β especially for darker irides β iris texture contrast is lower and accuracy is measurably reduced. Enrol in good, even lighting and retry if a capture is rejected.
Look directly at the camera in good light. Position your eye in the frame, then Capture.

π Iris codes are sealed automatically with AES-GCM (PBKDF2, 310k iterations) using a device vault key β nothing is stored in plaintext and no passphrase is required.

β οΈ This tool uses your device's visible-light webcam only. No NIR (near-infrared) emitter is activated. Per IEC 62471, the radiant exposure from a standard webcam LED illuminator at working distance is well below the exempt-group limits (0.001 W/cmΒ² over 10 000 s). No retinal hazard exists at this intensity.
